Reinventing Filters: Expanding Capabilities And Elevating UX to Support Product Growth
Unito connects users’ favorite work apps with deep integrations and true two-way sync. While its core value lies in automation and flexibility, qualitative research, product usage data, and internal audits revealed a critical gap: the filtering system no longer supported evolving user needs.

What Exactly Were We Looking At?
Let’s lay the groundwork. Unito is an automation platform that lets users connect their favorite work tools through a no-code Flow Builder—the core interface for setting up and managing synchronizations.
Each Flow is built in four key steps:
This case focuses on Step 3: Choose sync conditions—a critical part of tailoring syncs to user workflows.
Key Pain Points Identified:
The objective was clear:
How can we unlock more use cases and improve usability to increase both activation and conversion rates?

A Little About Me
My journey began in Paris in 2013, where I wore both project management and UX hats. Over time, it became clear: solving design challenges was where my passion truly lay. In 2018, I transitioned fully into UX and never looked back.
That same year, I joined Unito in Montréal as a one-person design team. Over the next 6.5 years, I helped scale the company through rapid growth, culminating in a $20M Series B funding round in 2022. Being part of Unito‘s product and design evolution was a defining chapter in my career. I developed deep expertise in SaaS, led user research, and tackled complex design problems with an iterative, collaborative mindset.
Since 2021, I’ve also worn the hat of a yoga instructor, teaching at Montréal’s Atma Yoga studio, and launched my meditation podcast, Écho. Today, I’m part Product Designer, part Yogini — and I bring this holistic lens into everything I create, balancing clarity, empathy, and purpose in my design work.
In 2024, I took a pause for adventure in French Polynesia before returning to France in 2025 — ready for a new chapter as a Senior Product Designer at Lucca.
